It's a good-looking house, and it needs a major renovation. Unfortunately it sits a bit far back on the block, so you lose some land out the front. But if you want to be in this location and are looking for a forever home, you'd have to ask yourself whether it's worth waiting for the finished product to hit the market, within the timeframe you need and to a budget that works for you, or buying this one and doing it yourself. I know what I would do.
